Longevity
YouTube Reviews

About This Playbook
The brief: a longevity brand selling a premium daily supplement and an at-home biomarker test kit. Its buyers are older, research-driven and take weeks to decide. The goal is a set of long-form YouTube reviews that answer buyers' questions in depth and keep sending traffic months after they go live.
Short-form content does not fit this buyer. In this example, the brand works with Baseamp on a twelve-week YouTube program with three in-depth reviewers, plus Shorts cut from each review that point viewers back to the full video.
Challenge
Longevity is full of big promises, and YouTube audiences in this space punish them. Reviewers who oversell lose credibility with their viewers, and claims about aging or lifespan invite platform and regulator scrutiny. The brand needs creators who can review honestly, including what the product does not do.
There is also a time problem. Long-form reviews take weeks to script, film and edit, so approvals cannot become the bottleneck. And because YouTube videos earn views for months, every claim in them has to hold up long after launch day.
Strategy
Creator Mix: 3 Long-Form YouTube Reviewers
We would book 3 YouTube creators who already review longevity and biohacking products in long form. They are chosen for average view duration, comment quality and how they have handled past sponsors, not for subscriber count alone, and each audience is checked for location fit.
Formats: a full review built around the creator's own routine, a 30-day follow-up video, and a comparison against alternatives the audience already knows. Each review is cut into 3 Shorts that link back to the full video. Talking points come from an approved list, and creators say plainly what is still unknown.
